Adfast Launches Colour Ad Delivery Website for Associated Newspapers

NS internet artwork delivery service, AdFast, has teamed up with London-based Remote Proofing Services (RPS) to launch a dedicated colour ad delivery website for Associated Newspapers’ publications.

That means agencies can now send full colour ads to the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, all Metro editions, Irish TV Week, Live Magazine, You Magazine and Weekend Magazine for around half the price of any other ad delivery method.

Previously Associated only used AdFast for receipt of mono ads. The deal also enables the Evening Standard and ES Magazine to receive colour files in the same way.

John Tucker, A&N Media production director, said: “Knowing our ads are coming in with the right colour, as correctly created PDFs, and at the right size – along with all the copy instruction information we need – has made our production role significantly more straightforward.

“RPS and AdFast are both trusted suppliers to Associated Newspapers Limited and their partnership solution is a welcome addition to our range of delivery options. We are delighted to recommend it to all our colour advertisers.”

Marcus Kirby, RPS director, said: “We have been providing a colour conversion and delivery service to Associated Newspapers for our RPS clients for over six months now, and we are delighted to work as partners with AdFast to provide this unique solution to the broader AdFast community.

“The partnership fits perfectly with our overall strategic objective – to simplify and lower the cost of fulfilling newspaper and magazine press advertising schedules for the whole community of advertisers.

“The Associated solution has been live for two months and the number of highly complimentary comments we have had from AdFast users has been overwhelming. We will be continuing to work with AdFast and Associated to ensure that the solution just gets better and better.”

AdFast general manager Rob Fogwill added: “The new web site is really quick and simple to use and is the lowest priced way of delivering colour ads to all Associated’s newspapers and magazines.

“Not only does the site size check, flight check and deliver ads safely and securely, but it accurately converts the colour using the correct profile for the chosen publication – so the agency is saved time and money on costly repro charges.
“Over the coming months, AdFast will introduce a completely new web site making the RPS features available for all our titles, and giving the system a completely new look and feel.”
