NS President Appears Before House of Lords Communications Committee

President of the Newspaper Society Geraldine Allinson, chairman, KM Group, and Edmund Curran OBE, editor-in-chief, Independent News and Media in Northern Ireland, appeared before the House of Lords Communications Committee on Tuesday to discuss investigative journalism and the local press.

The Committee, chaired by Lord Inglewood, is currently inquiring into the future of investigative journalism.  A transcript will go live on the Committee’s website in the next few days.
