Newspaper Conference Annual Lunch on 20 October

The Newspaper Conference annual lunch will be held on 20 October at a central London venue. 

The Newspaper Conference comprises Westminster-based London editors and political correspondents of newspapers in membership of the Newspaper Society. Its events are organised by the NS.

This year, the Conference is chaired by Nick Lester, parliamentary lobby correspondent at Northcliffe Media.

The annual lunch is the main event in the Conference calendar with publishers and editors attending along with members of the Conference and other guests.  Guest speakers are normally senior politicians and have included Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, who spoke at last year’s event, Lord Mandelson, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown.
