New Adfast Features: Createadsfast and Kill/Change
AdFast, the NS internet artwork delivery system, has extended its service portfolio to newspaper publishers by introducing two new featuresdesigned to provide a simpler, more cost-effective and convenient method of advertisement creation and delivery.
CreateAdsFast.com is a self-serve website which enables both publishers and advertisers to design their own advertisements from a vast selection of creative templates, fonts and images. The facility contains guide artwork options that cover a variety of advertising categories, including leisure, property, recruitment and retail in a choice of sizes and formats.
The website, a joint venture between AdFast and Simply D’nA, steers the user through a step-by-step process which allows for the personalisation of all aspects of the advertisement. Around 300 fonts and 2.3million royalty-free images are available for manipulation, and users can also upload their own images to the site for inclusion. The finished artwork is then sent through the usual AdFast channel.
AdFast general manager, Rob Fogwill, said of the service: “CreateAdsFast.com enables any advertiser to create professional, quality artwork and dispatch within minutes. The service greatly simplifies the process, especially for ad categories which, by their nature, require regular change, such as recruitment.
“With a price range for each advertisement between £2 and £25, CreateAdsFast.com greatly reduces the cost involved in advertisement production.”
Newspaper publishers can also benefit from a bespoke home page for the service, which is branded to the publisher’s specification and links through to the CreateAdsFast.com site.
The second new feature to be introduced is Kill/Change, which provides a solution to artwork and copy amends that need to be carried out at the final hour.
Advertisers are able to use Kill/Change to alert publishers that fresh artwork is being supplied to replace the advertisement on hold in the event of essential last-minute changes.
The feature keeps a log of the process to ensure that the operation runs smoothly, and allows for the publisher to confirm that the instruction has been received. Users also have the option to receive email alerts if required.
Rob Fogwill said: “This feature will become an invaluable tool for artwork reception desks.
“It continues our commitment to make publisher’s copy chasing systems as simple and reliable as possible. Together with our archive, introduced earlier this year, it provides both publishers and advertisers with a complete log and audit trail of artwork transmissions.”
Kill/Change is included within the AdFast advertisement tracking system, where users – both publishers and advertisers – can trace the progress of artwork from originator to recipient.
