AdFast
Internet Artwork Delivery Agency – UK and Eire
AdFast was launched in August 2000, and is now accepted as one of the foremost artwork delivery mechanisms in the country. It was set up to provide a single Internet portal that allows users to access all subscribing titles using one simple mechanism. AdFast now has a traffic rate of approx. 1,250,000 file transfers a year.
AdFast is an Internet-based artwork delivery system for the transfer of PDF files. It includes a delivery mechanism and an integrated online title and specifications database. Other file formats cannot be transferred by AdFast.
AdFast addresses the many problems surrounding digital artwork file delivery.
The most common problems are:
- locating the information required to contact titles
- being able to access the title's production department to deliver the file
- ensuring that the file, once delivered, is usable by the recipient
Adfast solves these problems by:
- the title database contact information
- providing a central portal together with a server farm to which different users can send concurrently.
- providing the information and tools required which allow senders to build PDF files and downloaders to receive files.
Both agency uploaders and publishers can access the system, and all work to a common standard.
The main website provides a single central portal for all AdFast services, as well as allowing access to both the file upload and file download areas.
Briefly, the facilities available are:
- On-line Tracking system Here all users, publishers and sending agencies or repro houses can track files in the system.
- Newspaper 'Spec Book' Individual titles can be searched for to view contact information, deadlines, mechanical information and page size data.
- Artwork upload and download Users, both senders and recipients, can log on to send and receive files
- Database management sections Prospective uploaders can register with AdFast, submit their details and, thereafter, edit them as necessary.
- Software downloads Latest versions of our software solutions are available for download from the site at all times.
- Help and Support A substantial online support section is available, as well as access to our manned support systems.
- User reports Any user can generate reports on their AdF@st activity from the site.
