The
Newspaper Society's Local Matters Conference was aimed at
advertisers and agencies, and was chaired by media commentator
Ray Snoddy.
The keynote speaker was Lord Coe, chair, London 2012
Organising Committee.
A strong line-up of speakers gave a thought-provoking and
actionable briefing to help advertisers better understand and
engage with local markets across the UK.
The Conference discussed:
- The explosive cross-platform and digital developments across
our industry.
- How editors are engaging with local
communities.
- How to communicate more effectively with
local strategies.
- Fresh research insights from a major
Millward Brown project.
