Local Business Accelerators: The People's Choice

LBA is the local newspaper industry's campaign to boost small businesses across the UK led by national ambassador Deborah Meaden, of the Dragon's DenThe overall LBA winner, as decided by a judging panel headed by Deborah, will be announced at the LBA Grand Final on 15 October along with the winner of The People's Choice 

LBA is a national initiative run by the Newspaper Society and local press industry sponsored by the Government and private sector’s Great Business campaign. It is backed by high profile figures and organisations including Prime Minister David Cameron, Business and Enterprise Minister Michael Fallon, First Minister of Wales Carwyn Jones, Scottish Government First Minister Alex Salmond, Business Growth Fund, Freeagent, CBI, ICAEW, and BT.
